I have added a picture of Asa and Sarah Moore Barnett here. I wasn't able to send it by e-mail because of the size, but I have made smaller here to send. This may be an easier way to send some of the pictures, since the program automatically makes them smaller.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all our family. We have postponed Christmas this year because of all the snow. Our Cummins Family Christmas dinner was scheduled to be at our home this year, but the streets are icy and messy (side roads haven't been graded). We will have the dinner some time later, probably in January.

Christmas eve was held at GG's house where we had our traditional soup in the evening. She also served an apple cake with the special sauce that was passed down from her mother. This was the dessert that her family served on special occasions when she was growing up.

For this year's story, she told us about the art work she had done while growing up and other hand crafts that she said lead up to her quilting. (As usual it is was recorded.)

We haven't talked to all of our children yet, but we love you all and will talk to you soon.

Monday Dec 22

On Monday we woke Dan up at 6:30 to come help us dig enough snow out to go to work. We just couldn't face digging it all out again after another foot of snow fell over the weekend. We even skipped Church on Sunday. :(

He is up for "Brother of the Year" award.

On Thursday the 18th of December Dad and I shoveled this out so we could get our cars out of the street.
